The Washington D.C. home where John Kennedy is said to have met Jacqueline Bouvier is up for sale for $1.725M.
In May, 1951 a dinner party was thrown at this modest Georgetown home to introduce Bouvier to Kennedy, reads the listing. In the book “All Too Human: The Love Story of Jack and Jackie” Kennedy says of Bouvier “I’ve never met anyone like her.” And the rest is history.
The property built in 1895 has since been expanded to 1,934 square feet with three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths. It features a gourmet kitchen, two skylights, all-brick patio and fire pit, among many other amenities.
Michael Brennan with TTR Sotheby’s International Realty is the listing agent.
