Billionaire Peter Thiel has sold his Marina District mansion in
San Francisco for $7.4 million, reports SocketSite.
The 5,995 square foot five-bedroom, six-bath property has
striking views of the Palace of Fine Arts and Golden Gate Bridge.
It features a library, gardens, and a rooftop lounge/deck among
many other amenities.
The property was originally listed in 2016 for $9.25 million and
the price was reduced to $8 million. Thiel purchased the home in
2010 for $6.5 million, but has made extensive renovations.
In addition to PayPal, Thiel also is the co-founder for Palantir
Technologies and Founders Fund. In 2017, he had a net worth of $2.6
