The 12-story building has 61 apartments that come in one through five-bedroom variants
The Noho condo with interiors by Ryan Korban, 40 Bleecker, has now launched sales on its 61 apartments. At present only six listings have come online, and they range in price from $1.775 million for a one-bedroom, one bathroom apartment, and go up to $6.31 million for a three-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment that measures 1,941 square feet.
Overall, this 12-story building features a mix of one through five-bedrooms homes, including six penthouses located on the top three floors of the building, each of which feature private outdoor space. The building’s exterior will be comprised of brick and metal and will have punched glass window openings, and the building’s overall design is supposed to be a nod to the neighborhood’s industrial buildings.
Typical apartments here will have high ceilings, and large windows. Kitchens in these units will have Miele appliances, honed statuary marble kitchen islands, and Italian cerused oak cabinetry with fluted bronze-colored glass. In the master bath there are custom-designed marble vanities, and marble flooring, whereas the flooring for the overall units are sourced from recycled wine barrels.
The Rawlings Architects-designed condo also comes with a host of amenities like a 57-foot swimming pool, an exercise room and stretching studio, concierge service, and bicycle storage.
40 Bleecker will also feature a 5,600-square-foot courtyard garden designed by Edmund Hollander of Hollander Design; it will have “reflecting pools, Zen waterfalls and chevron paths,” among other features.
Fredrik Eklund, John Gomes and Sarah Burke—all of Douglas Elliman—are leading the sales and marketing on this ground-up condo, which is located at the intersection of Bleecker and Mulberry Streets.
While reflecting on the team compiled for the project developer Raymond Chalmé, CEO and Principal of Broad Street Development, said “the roster of design talent that has been assembled to create 40 Bleecker is likely never to be recreated, and it makes these homes truly a once-in-a-generation opportunity,” though we’re not sure how many NYC developers would agree with him.
Construction on the condo building is presently underway and will likely wrap sometime next year.
